Lizbeth Dison has over twenty years experience in marketing and communications, across a wide range of vertical industries, including cable/broadband, mobile, cybersecurity, publishing, visual and performing arts, non-profits and NGOs and retail. Her resume includes positions in marketing and public relations with Disney/ABC Networks, Time Warner Cable, Comcast and Cox Communications. Lizbeth has worked with several start-ups for which she developed and managed strategic plans for company launches and branding activities. She also serves as a consultant for several clients in regards to managing and optimizing social media.
Lizbeth’s specialties include writing, public speaking, public relations, social media, strategic marketing, event planning and management, branding and identity, affiliate relations, customer relations, vendor relations, collateral design. She is the director of public relations for The Rotary Club of Stone Mountain, of which she has been a member for four years; previously, she served three years in the same position for the Tucker Business Association. She holds bachelor’s degrees in both English and history and has completed graduate coursework in history.
Lizbeth has co-produced two short films: “Schrodinger’s Box,” which was named an official selection at eight film festivals, and “Panoptica.” Lizbeth is also an avid sci-fi fan and helps out with media relations for WHOlanta, Atlanta’s Doctor Who, and British pop culture convention. She works on a paranormal research team investigating reported hauntings and other unexplained events. She also serves as manager and publicist for her actor daughter Emma Dison Brantley. With whatever spare time she has left in a very busy day, she continues to plug away on her first novel.
